RHP Parents Weekly Email and Fliers for September 24, 2019

Dear Parents,

This week the Middle Schoolers have the campus to themselves as the high school students all have intensive science camps off-campus. On Monday, the 9th graders traveled to Arizona to study Geology while the 10th -12th graders went to Mount Kare in Wrightwood to study Natural History (10), Astronomy (11) and Wilderness Survival (12).

Later in the spring our 8th graders will spend a week traveling to Sacramento and in April, the 6th graders will study at Ventura, and the 7th graders will travel to many artistic performances throughout the school year. Specialized grade-level intensive study is a highlight at RHP!

Congratulations to both our MS and HS Football teams for their victories last week. In case you missed it – our Varsity FB team soundly defeated (public) Arroyo High School 42-0. Thanks to the Middle School pep band players and parents for the support!

A week from Friday, please plan to attend the annual RHP Homecoming game on Friday, Oct. 4 at Kare Park vs Big Bear at 7:00 p.m. A “taco-tailgate” dinner will be available (HS Fundraiser). At half-time all of the high school young ladies will be honored and a homecoming court will be revealed. With the theme of “Jurassic Park” – you won’t want to miss this special RHP Tradition!

REMINDER- Please be sure you are keeping up with your child’s records on the INOW parent portal. There you can see the grades for all class activities, attendance and any demerits for missing homework, tardies, etc. If you have any questions about using the Parent Portal – please call Mrs. Loomis in the RHP Office or email her directly at dloomis.
