HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE CAMPS
All high school students will be going to science camp for the week of Oct. 3-7.
9TH GRADE
The freshmen will be traveling to Arizona for the week in our air-conditioned trip bus and staying at the Sleep Inn in Flagstaff (2765 S. Woodlands Village Blvd). They’ll be visiting a lava tube cave, Grand Canyon, Meteor and Sunsets Craters, the petrified forest, and more! Trip departs at 9:00 AM on Monday October 3rd and returns between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM on Friday, October 7th. Bring money for two meals and snacks (~$30). Electronic items are prohibited except for dedicated cameras.
10TH-12TH GRADE
Sophomores, juniors, and seniors will be studying native wildlife, astronomy, and survival skills at beautiful Mt. Kare in Wrightwood, CA (24557 CA-2). We’ll meet on campus Monday, Oct. 3 at 9:00 AM to pack the buses and depart at 9:30 AM. Students will need money for lunch on the way back on Friday. Phones are allowed but may only be used at designated times. No other electronics are allowed at camp, including tablets, laptops, and video game consoles.
